New Year's Retreat, Dec. 28 - Jan. 1 PDF Print E-mail

Friends old and new are invited to come together to celebrate the coming of the New Year, to take time to reflect on the past year, and to consciously consider renewal for the upcoming one. Each day of this Ashtanga Yoga Retreat brings the opportunity to practice an array of Yoga methods: Shat Karma (cleansing practices), Pranayama (breathing practices), Asana (postures) and Dhyana (meditation). Classes are offered for all levels of practitioners. Each afternoon there is opportunity for study of the Bhagavad Gita. Evening programs include kirtan (chanting) and on New Year’s Eve a special evening of chanting, singing, prayers for peace, and meditation up through the midnight hour. Baba Hari Dass will be in attendance during this retreat. This is one of our most popular retreats so please register early with the Program's Office:
