Please join us as we once again immerse ourselves in the timeless, devotional story of the Ramayana. This year we will celebrate Navaratri at Mount Madonna Center from Friday, Oct. 8th to Sunday, Oct. 17th. As is our tradition, beginning on Oct. 8th we will hold daily morning Pujas to Sri Ram at the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple at 7:15am immediately following morning Arati. The morning Pujas will last approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.

On Sunday, Oct. 17th the evening Arati will take place at 5pm following which we will convene in the upper lot for Vijaya Dasami, our ‘final battle’ with Ravana. The public is welcome to attend this final ritual of the Navaratri celebration. First we shoot arrows into Ravana’s effigy while drummers create an atmosphere of mounting excitement. After everyone has had a turn attacking Ravana, he gets demolished, symbolizing our victory in overcoming negativities.      Jai Sita Ram!
