We have offically announced the 2008-2009 dates of the intensives and trainings for the new Mount Madonna Institute School of Professional Massage. Beginning in June and November we will be offering our first two 12 day/100 hour massage practioner intensives. We will also be offering 20 hour weekend trainings in Shiatsu and Ayurvedic Massage in the Summer and Fall of 2008. We have recruited and signed on many experienced, knowledgeable and dynamic teachers (including Jim Gallas, CMT, and Debra Smith, CMT) who have been teaching massage nationally and internationally for many years. Our future plans are eventually to expand the massage program into 200 and 500 hour massage therapist certifications. We are all very excited about the new possibilities and potentials offered by the new School of Professional Massage. Additionally, we are working closely with the College of Ayureveda to design a cohesive and unique curriculum that will be attractive and beneficial to a wide variety of students. We will also be announcing the dates and times of open houses/demonstrations for the Spring of 2008. We have already received much positive response and feedback from many individuals who share in our excitement and vision.
